Lexi is such a sweetie with little kids. We had my cute, almost 4 yr old niece, Brooklyn, over today while my sister was at work, and Brooklyn's older sister was at school. Lexi had a couple of calls from her friends to go out and play, and she sweetly told them she couldn't because her cousin was here. She's always so good to play with the littler kids, and to take them to her room or off to play so the parents can get a break for a minute or two. The moms on Jakson's baseball team just loved her for always playing with the littler ones. Plus, she just LOVES all of her cousins. My sister was able to go part-time at work this summer, so we were able to spend quite a bit of time with her and her girls. They had so much fun at the pool, lunches at the park, and just doing nothing. My sisters oldest is 2 yrs younger then Lexi, and then the rest of her cousins are all 4 and younger. That doesn't matter to her though, she loves to see them. We've been pretty lucky to have all but 2 of our cousins here in the same state. And the two that are not here, she misses, and gets so excited to see when they are able to come and visit. I always wanted my kids to grow up and have a close relationship with their cousins. I had some of my funnest times with my cousins, from childhood to now. I still talk to mine on a weekly basis, and have been so lucky to have been welcomed in by Jared's. I hope that both of my kids continue to have a close relationship with their cousins as they grow older.
