I officially did it. I finished the Ogden marathon. I'm REALLY disappointed with my finish time, but I did slack in my training for a couple of months, then picked it back up about 8 weeks before. I had talked my sister into doing this with me. I keep thinking that it really wouldn't have mattered had I trained harder, I'd be even more disappointed with my time. I run a faster pace than my sister. And if I thought my training was sad, hers was not much better. In fact she was ready to quit before we started. But she still showed up and was a trooper about it. If I hadn't stayed and ran her pace with her I don't think she would have finished. I went in completely, mentally ready. I knew I could finish. And around mile 18 I really need her support to keep going. It was tough, physically and mentally. But we finished. And had a great time along the way! :) next time I definitely know what to do differently.... Maybe not take 2 months off of training to start with!

At the start.

At the finish.
Now onto the next run. Wasatch Ragnar next weekend. There is still 6-8 feet of snow on some courses(Jared's). Wish us luck.
