I am SO excited for the holidays this year. Last year, I don't think I really got excited, maybe I did but it was well into December. This year I can feel my inner Martha Stewart ready to burst! I am not the least bit creative, I definitely didn't get even a tenth of my Aunts and cousins creativity...but I try :) With Jared a little out of commission, we probably won't be having our Christmas lights up this year. That's ok. I made the cutest garland for my front door. So easy and it seriously cost me a whole 4.50! The one I wanted to just buy (because that's usually what my "creative" self does) was 29.99! I'm so excited about it. I know its a little early for it to be up, but I haven't plugged in the lights yet.
This year our family has so much to be thankful for. I think that's why I am so excited. I feel like my kids have seen the best example of what giving really means. And I really hope that stays with them as they grow.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! And an AWESOME black Friday! I seriously can't wait!

Wow Dusty. You are starting early this year. Brandon is going to Singapore on Black Friday so I am trying to get him to get the lights up before then so I can turn them on come December 1st. Very cute garland. I'm impressed Martha!
Look at your inner Martha. It looks great and you can't beat the price. You have a wonderful family. It's so fun to get to know you better. :)
