Do any other moms out there dread sleepovers? Lexi is constantly asking me for sleepovers. Every other day, its "Mom, can so and so sleep over". At least once a week I've got someone sleeping over and I just dread it. Then the next morning, I always think that wasn't bad, why do I stress out? Well, its because I knew the day of barbie dolls, bratz dolls, and polly pockets would quietly end, and I would be stuck with pre-teen girls with cell phones and ipods, girls who stay up all night, playing with hair and make up, but who are continually bored! We have tons and tons of board games, we have a WII, we have a fenced in back yard with a tramp, but there is never anything to do. When I dare to suggest to go get the bratz dolls out, (I mean, I played with my barbies until I was at least 11!!!) I'm looked at like I just grew antlers. I knew this day would come, I just thought I'd be ready to let go of the cute little girls that ran about with bratz dolls in hand, and would know what to do with these maturing, beautiful young girls. I can't believe how fast they grow:(
