I finally started and finished a baby quilt over the weekend for my new little nephew Elias that was born in July. I had such a hard time bringing myself to sew a quilt in the middle of the summer when it was 100 degrees outside. With the weather turning cold here, and the rainy season starting in Seattle, and a few reminder calls from my sister in-law, I thought I better get on it and get his little blanket done and sent. I had not ever done a blanket with the points around the edge, I've always been a bit lazy about cutting and ironing the squares. But, I finished and it and I'm so happy with the way it turned out.

I agree about quilting in the summer.
So cute! I wish I was crafty.
It's adorable. Great job.
Hi Dusty! I'm such a moron I just finally noticed your blog link on Wendi's sight! Stop being so crafty you're making the rest of us look bad! ;)
