Parade

Every year now for the past 7 years, my parents have a fun day planned with their grand kids. The kids look forward to it every year. It starts off by heading over to the Taylorsville Days Parade. Jakson did miss the parade this year, he had a birthday party he really wanted to go to, he was completely stressed by having to decide. My mom had to tell him to go to his party and they'd start all the fun as soon as he got there. They live right across the street from the park, so its nice to be able to park at her house and just walk up. After that, we (my sister and I) have to leave, no moms can stay....and they play hard ALL day, my mom and my little sisters take them over to the park to check out all the booths, they come back and my dad BBQ's, and they eat a ton of ice cream, I'd be surprised if Jakson ate anything else, and then they spread out blankets on the lawn to watch the fireworks. This was the first year Jakson didn't fall asleep before they started. He was excited about that. They have so much fun. It seems like for the last couple of years now when I have gone to pick them up in the morning (10ish) they are still all sleeping soundly. My sisters included. They have a blast.

That's looks like so much fun for your kids. Summer is packed with great things to do. We really should get together our kids are so close in age.
